These data are the property of the EISCAT Scientific Association and
'rules of the road' apply to their use. Analysed DataThe main archive of analysed data is being transferred to the Madrigal database system. Please check there first for both archive and realtime data from all the radars. The process of (re-)analysing (where necessary) and loading these data will take some time. However, it does not have to be done in any particular order so if you need some specific data which I have not yet processed, please let us know and maybe we'll try to handle it earlier than might otherwise be the case.
Centre de Données de la Physique des PlasmasThe Grenoble EISCAT data baseNCAR (aka CEDAR) databaseRaw DataThe main tape archive in can be accessed through a web interface. The EISCAT/UK Raw Data Archive system inserts pointers to the data tapes into the schedule database allowing data availability to be checked simply by inspecting the schedule for the relevant month. All ESR data tapes are included, together with those from the new mainland systems. Pointers to archival mainland data will be added as time and resources permit. If you need raw data you should contact your National Data Representative, if your country is a member of the EISCAT Scientific Association, who will request copies from the archive on your behalf. If your country is not (yet) a member of the Association, please contact us directly and we will try to help. Freja related dataThe full EISCAT Freja dataset, processed using GUP, is available to registered users at the ftp site in Uppsala (http://www.eiscat.uit.no/freja/freja.html); please contact Hermann Opgenoorth if you wish to be added to the list of users.
