Radar Schedules and Requests

The past, current and future schedules are maintained from an automated data base.

To investigate any particular month, scroll to the bottom of the current schedule and use the selection boxes to pick the year and month you want, select either 'scheduled' (to see what we actually plan to run) or 'all' (to see what has been requested as well) and hit the submit button. Note that you can only see the scheduled operations for the current, and earlier, months.

Observing time on any of the EISCAT radars can be obtained through the National Representatives of each of the seven EISCAT Associates. Scientists from non-member countries can also obtain observing time, free of charge, through a separate peer-review process.

If you want to run an experiment, please use the automated request form but, for the time being, you must also print yourself a copy of the standard scheduling form, fill it in and send it to your national Schedule Representative for approval.

For experiments on more than one site, Internet Relay Chat is a good way to communicate.
